Contests & Challenges of the Mind

The Great Cosplay Contests

Come admire (or embody!) your favorite characters from the worlds of Fantasy, video games, comics or literature. More than just a costume, a true staging awaits you.

  • Theme : Fantasy (open).
  • When : Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 PM. Saturday for adults, Sunday for children.
  • The Jury : will be composed of the talented Guinshiki Cosplay, Christina Mazza and Jazou Cosplay; they will have the heavy task of awarding 3 prizes each day.
  • Form to fill out to participate: TL26 - COSPLAY Contest Form

Quiz : The Fellowship of the Ring

Test your knowledge of Tolkien's work and prove that you are a true scholar of Middle-earth.

  • When : Sunday at 5:00 PM.

Musical Atmosphere & Roaming Performances

  • Piper's Phil : Throughout the weekend, let yourself be guided by the enchanting sounds of the bagpipes. Phil will stroll through the heart of the festival for a complete immersion.
  • La Maisnie Hellequin : Between 12th-century legends and modernity, this group breathes a gust of medieval rock on ancient instruments (hurdy-gurdy, nyckelharpa, percussion). A mystical and powerful atmosphere.
  • Les Corneilles d'Aralune : A mischievous female vocal quartet. Between a cappella polyphonies, humor and feminism, they revisit tales and songs with a touch of witchcraft.

Immersion & Camp

Our encampment

A living, shared space for young and old featuring:

  • Wooden games : traditional games available all day for children.
  • Living crafts : Discover the delicate work of a wool spinner (sheep and alpaca).
  • Combat demonstrations : Attend epic duels on the shooting range, alternating with introductions to spear throwing and archery.
  • Forge Relief : Support a meticulous young blacksmith who will make his first public efforts!

Axe throwing with Hollywood Arcadia

Do you have Viking blood? Come test your skill and precision.

The experts from Hollywood Arcadia will teach you the basic safety rules and throwing techniques. (Subject to age and safety restrictions).

The Art of Fire and Iron

  • Feux de la Rose Noire : Live traditional forging demonstrations.

Coutellerie Devillers & La Belliqueuse : Meet William (blacksmith-sculptor) and Zoé (illustrator-leatherworker). From their workshops in the Centre Loire come unique pieces: exceptional knives, leather pouches and fantastic jewelry.
